Steel and Concrete Repair
Transcote are approved applicators for the “Belzona” range of products for brush on repair to steel and concrete.
Deterioration of surfaces due to abrasion, chemical attack or impact resulting in uneven, unsightly and hazardous areas. Masonry, concrete, or steel areas in particular can be difficult to repair once damage has occurred. Conventional repairs to masonry or steel would typically require replacement of the damaged part in order to preserve the aesthetic appearance. The damaged area would be to cut out and a specially made piece bonded in place in order to reinstate the original appearance.
Repair of concrete with new concrete always gives rise to further problems since concrete shrinks and will not successfully bond to old concrete.
Belzona Magma Polymers have been specifically designed to bond to all types of masonry and steel without shrinkage and provide a tough, permanent repair. Areas suffering from chemical attack can also be protected with the chemical resistant range of Belzona products and, due to the fast cure cycle of the range, all repaired and protected areas can be returned to service in the shortest possible time.
